Present in Brazil since 1963, Sepal began its ministry in Brazil, receiving North American missionaries, whose objective was to assist the Brazilian evangelical church in the work of evangelization. This was the reason Sepal meant “Service of Evangelization for Latin America” for many years. From the 1980s onto Sepal, not only here in Brazil, but all over the world, it came to mean “Serving Pastors and Leaders”.
From the end of the 1990s, Sepal began a process of nationalization. Brazilian missionaries began to be recruited to work not only in Brazil, but also in other nations. With this new teams were formed in Brazil, in addition to the one that was in São Paulo. Today we have missionaries also serving in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Londrina, Vitória, Brasília, Natal and Caruaru, in addition to São Paulo. Many others serve in other nations, also supporting the church in the Middle East, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Asia, South Africa, Romania, Guatemala, Chile and Mozambique.
Through this site you will be able to know each of our missionaries, their ministries and also their needs. We emphasize that Sepal recognizes the authority of the local church sending each of its missionaries and for this maintains close contact with each of them.
Thank God for the lives of our missionaries! And may the Lord continue to send missionaries to the discipleship of nations!
