A gift to Jorge’s father and the whole family:
The missionaries had long prayed for the health of George’s father, for the possibility of a kidney transplant, as he suffered from a very serious kidney disease. And it was on August 25th that the present arrived. Through a call from the nephrologist, the good news that a compatible kidney was available to Jorge’s father filled everyone with joy and hope.
The surgery has already happened and was a success! But, as this was not a simple procedure, the recovery process requires a lot of care.
For Jorge, it was difficult not to be by his family at a time like this. The coronavirus pandemic has made any trip a great risk. But God is a source of strength and our brother is assured that He is the one who is taking care of everything!
A gift for the children of Slatina
Recently the Carvalho family went to Slatina, a city in southern Romania, to serve in a gypsy church. Members of this church were praying that someone would paint the children’s room, set in a garage.
The Lord heard the prayers and sent a gift to the little ones. Passing through the city, Virginia took her painting material and left the beautiful corner! Check out the final result!
